15th and 15th, meet the hammers.

we found an apartment!
{we hope! we signed & faxed the lease over today. we'll hear from them sometime soon!}
i'm so excited to move in.
we move in Sept 1st {or close to it}
it's super cute, guys.
i hated it at first. but then it was beautiful beyond belief.
it's practically 15th and 15th in salt lake city,
near a cute little shopping center
with einstein's and starbucks on the corner,
and a simply amazing italian restaurant with live performers.
it's a basement apartment,
so we have a cute little stairway down to our front door,
with an adorable blue desk at the bottom
that i may just ask for.
we'll have to buy more lamps,
lots of paint,
and just a few bottles of febreez.
but nick was right; it's perfect.
i'm so grateful that he's been so willing and motivated
to find somewhere for us to live.
heaven knows i was so not up to the challenge.
there's a big window above the sink,
the kind that reminds me of a greenhouse
big enough for a bitty herb garden
and lots of frost in december.
a backyard for our pup,
and enough space for the other half of our couch set
which is currently at my grandparent's house.
we have so many ideas swimming around our heads
of what we can do to this place!
antique'ing the old-school cabinets,
buying a rug for the living room {wood floors!}
painting the walls yellow. or blue. or green.
hanging new lights in the kitchen,
and painting chalkboard paint behind the stove.
personally, i would like to re-design the bedroom as well.
i love redesigning things.
anyways, my mind is running wild,
and i'm in love with our {hopefully!} new apartment.
cross your fingers for us!
