we made homemade french onion soup with meat and carrots on Sunday and ate it by the tree. this morning we picked up the other half of our couch from our grandparent's house (about time, right?) and my mom gave us an early Christmas present: a fluffy white area rug for the living room?! YES.
my brother and sister came with her & saw our cute little decorations (ally i know you're reading this, and i love you and can't wait to play games and do puzzles with you all day on Christmas eve!)
we even lit a fire and warmed our little toesies by it.
Christmas is in the doorstep, all we have to do is sit back & cuddle.
after all, that's what Christmas is for, right?
