this week was an epic battle between school and i.

it started off nice enough; a painting due monday, 2 papers due on tuesday, research due on thursday, a truffle contest in design, biology homework, portrait drawing, an illustrator vector due friday night.

common things.

and then i realized that i work full time and have a 2 hour commute every day and also need to slip in eating and sleeping somewhere.

so i put on my big girl panties and i faced the world head on.
besides, who really needs sleep?

V I C T O R Y.

i did it- i made it to the weekend!
i have such a powerful look on life, like "yeah take it world, i OWN you."
but at the same time i've been served a big old slice of humble pie when i realize i haven't done it alone.
no, my friends, i haven't.

nick's birthday is tomorrow- he's quite old.
