this is pretty much what we did every day. slept in, ate a big breakfast & headed to the beach.
one day we built a big sand castle with a moat & nick tried to teach me to boogie board (i cried. i do not do well with water) so he played in the water & i stuck my toes in the ocean. win-win.
most days we laid out and got tan. another day we found a stash of red hot cheetos & threw them at the birds. some days we went fishing on the jetty & fed pelicans. 'tis normal life when you're a hot beach bum.
also, i have officially been to all United States coasts! ✓
