saturday is a day to lay in bed and do nothing.
the only day of the week where we can stay up late the night before & stay in bed the next morning as long as our hearts desire.
it's full of snuggling, sweats, love notes written with fountain pens, cuddly puppies & pooling our change to see if we can buy some cheese and a snack.
we eat breakfast for lunch; fresh strawberries with brown sugar & oatmeal, sharing an orange & eating our favorite multi-grain toast.
we watch kate & leopold and plan to eventually, when we have one, name our child leopold.

sometimes, i think saturdays are better than Christmas.
